Liposuction
Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. It helps to improve the shape of the body by removing excess fat that does not improve with exercise. Common areas include the thighs, tummy, buttocks, neck and chest. It can be performed as a day case procedure by Mr Uppal in some cases. If many areas are treated an overnight stay in hospital may be required.
Patients are provided with a compression garment to wear after their surgery. You can often return to work within days after surgery if only one area is treated. If more than one area is treated with LipoSculpture techniques, a week off work may be required.
There are almost no scars after liposuction as it is performed using key hole surgery.
